LAILA PULLINEN FOUNDATION

The Laila Pullinen Foundation is a non-profit organization established in 2018 in accordance with the testamentary wishes of sculptor and professor Laila Pullinen (1933–2015). Pullinen entrusted the foundation with the majority of her artistic works, her archives, and her share of the Nissbacka Manor estate and its buildings.

The foundation’s mission is to preserve and promote the art of Laila Pullinen. To fulfill this mission, it manages, maintains, and exhibits its art collection and safeguards the Gesamtkunstwerk of the Nissbacka Manor sculpture park, today known as the Laila Pullinen Sculpture Park & Home Museum. The foundation may acquire and sell artworks as needed, lend or rent works for exhibitions, organize exhibitions, or participate in their organization. The foundation may also receive donations. The foundation’s first board consists of painter and professor Tero Laaksonen (appointed by Pullinen as the board’s artist member), critic and curator Juha-Heikki Tihinen, lawyer Petri Kyllönen, and the foundation’s administrator, journalist Petra Piitulainen-Ramsay. The chair of the board is Pullinen’s son, Jean Ramsay.
